The unglamorous layer underneath everything else, and the one most often set up badly. I register and configure domains, get DNS and email authentication right, and put sites on hosting that suits their traffic rather than their vendor’s margin.
Email that arrives
If your email lands in spam, the cause is almost always SPF, DKIM and DMARC records that were never set up or were broken by a later change. It is a short job with a large effect, and I fix it regularly for businesses who assumed the problem was their provider.
Hosting worth paying for
Most small business sites belong on Netlify or similar: fast everywhere, free certificates, and no server for someone to forget to patch. Where an application needs a real back end I use Railway, Supabase or Azure. I will tell you when your current hosting is fine and not worth moving.
In your name, always
Your domain and hosting accounts are registered to you. If we stop working together you keep everything and change one password. Anyone who will not do this for you is telling you something.
