An intranet for DFAT, giving staff one place for news, policies, documents, people and the tools they use every day, with navigation designed around how the organisation actually works. It is looked after on an ongoing basis after launch: platform and plugin updates, security patches, monitoring, backups and content changes.
The SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is used for custom web parts that extend SharePoint Online beyond its out-of-the-box components. Azure provides the cloud services and APIs behind it. React powers the interactive interface, built from reusable components. TypeScript adds type safety across the codebase. It integrates with Microsoft 365, including Microsoft Graph for people, groups and documents.
Technology used: SharePoint Framework, Azure, React, Typescript, JavaScript, Sass, M365. My role on the project was Technical & Development Lead.
