About the project

Application project for a private client

Built on SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, so content, permissions and search sit inside the platform the organisation already licenses. A custom application for Private client, built around their own workflow rather than bending an off-the-shelf product to fit, with a user interface designed for the people who use it daily. It integrates AI, using large language models to draft, summarise, classify or answer questions inside the product, with the prompts and guardrails kept on the server.

React powers the interactive interface, built from reusable components. Its AI features are built on Open AI. The SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is used for custom web parts that extend SharePoint Online beyond its out-of-the-box components. Azure provides the cloud services and APIs behind it. TypeScript adds type safety across the codebase. It is deployed on Netlify, with automatic builds from Git and a global CDN.

Technology used: React, Open AI, SharePoint Framework, Azure, Typescript, JavaScript, Sass, Netlify. My role on the project was Developer.
